Frequently Asked Questions
How will my item be shipped?
Wherever possible I will ship by Royal Mail Special Delivery, Parcel Force or specialist courier. Shipping costs, collection or local delivery will be offered at checkout. Estimates for postage will be based on artwork dimensions, weight and location.
I will package all items appropriately using recycled and repurposed packaging materials. All items will be sent within 3 business days. Please allow 7 days for delivery once the item is dispatched.
What about large scale works, how will they be shipped?
Where possible I will give you a quote for a courier service if the work is outside of the scope of Royal Mail. Quotations will be based on packaged weight and size. I may be able to offer in person delivery within a 20 mile radius of my studio in Stockport. Alternatively, I can offer an appointment for collection from my studio.
What happens if I don’t receive my shipment?
I offer only tracked and signed for services for shipping. Whilst these are not infallible, it offers the best chance of your item reaching you in good condition. I will pass on tracking information and retain proof of postage. Please discuss this with me if you are worried, perhaps we can arrange local collection or an in person delivery if within a 20 mile radius. In the rare case of loss or damage, please allow the 7 days for delivery and notify me in writing within 14 days if the worst occurs. Please take a photograph of any damage caused in transit.
Do you ship to other countries?
I currently only offer shipping within the United Kingdom.
Do you do Commissions?
I will consider commissions on an individual basis. Please do contact me if you have a project in mind. Once we agree an approach, budget and timescale, I ask for a 50% deposit before I complete the work. This deposit is non-refundable. In order to maintain my creativity, I may produce more than one piece that you can choose from once the commission has been completed. I have a limited number of commission spaces available throughout the year.
Do you do prints?
I will be offering limited edition prints for sale soon. I want to provide the best quality of image and print and am currently looking for suppliers. Please do contact me to see what I can offer you before these go live on my website.
What if I need to return my item?
I really hope you love your painting but if for some reason you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me so we can discuss this. I would be happy to discuss an alternative piece or to offer you a return.
Returns and refunds will only be offered if you notify me in writing within 14 days of receiving your artwork. All returns should be in their original condition and packaging. Returns are at your cost and must use a tracked and signed for service.
Once I confirm safe receipt of the artwork, I will process a refund using your original purchase method. I am currently unable to accept returns from outside of the UK.
Whilst every effort is made to portray accurate photographs of the artwork on this website, I am not responsible for differences in browsers, devices or screen settings which may look different to the original work. I will not refund on this basis.
If you would like to see the artwork in real life before purchase, I will be happy to direct you to where it is being shown or I will video the item in natural light so you can see it before purchase.
